Refund Policy

Scanning is free. Theme Residue Cleaner's paid plan is an annual subscription. Our principles are simple: deliver or refund, and cancel anytime on clear terms. This policy applies to Theme Residue Cleaner and is offered by Speedy Bloom Limited. Purchases of Attest, our job-application assistant for Chrome, are covered by the separate Attest Refund Policy.

Free scans

Running a scan is free and never charges you. A free scan always shows you the real result — the number of residue items found, or "0 — clean." There is nothing to refund on a free scan.

Cancel anytime

You can cancel the annual subscription at any time from your Shopify admin. When you cancel:

  • your access continues through the end of the year you've already paid for, then stops renewing;
  • there is no proration and no partial refund for unused months of the current paid year.

Deliver-or-refund

You are entitled to a refund if we fail to produce the paid deliverable (your detailed report and cleaned theme package). This covers:

  • a scan is declined because the theme is over our size limit;
  • the scan fails with an error; or
  • you are charged but no paid report or cleaned theme is produced.

If you were charged and didn't receive your paid deliverable and a refund hasn't appeared, contact [email protected] and we'll resolve it.

If a delivered report was wrong or unusable

If you received your paid report and cleaned theme but it was wrong or unusable, please contact [email protected] and tell us what happened (including your report ID). We will review it and make it right — typically by correcting the report, re-running the scan, or issuing a refund — at our discretion.

How refunds are processed

Refunds are returned to your original payment method through the channel that billed you — Shopify for App Store purchases, or Paddle where a tool was purchased through Paddle as merchant of record. The time it takes to appear depends on that provider and your bank.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable refund or consumer rights you have under the law that applies to you. Where such rights require a refund, we will honour them.
